- The Garrett County Department of Economic Development released
a groundbreaking study of its broadband communications infrastructure.
The study, "Broadband in Garrett County: A Strategy for Expansion
and Adoption," follows the county's 2011 Economic Development
Strategic Plan, which includes a goal to increase non-satellite
broadband Internet availability to at least 90% of county residences
